Naxos Beach Towel

I will not write about our UK trip cause this blog is not place for it. But Turkey part of it can be interesting because we have visited a lot of ancient Greek sites in Turkey.
Holiday has started from Antalya Turkey. After 4 days in Antalya we switched to Kusadasi over Aydin. The bus trip takes 7 hours to Aydin from Antalya (do not use the company METRO, it was awful) and minibus tour takes 2 hours from Aydin to Kusadasi (good ride but bad road, I wish we went there over Izmir). We stayed at Hostel Panorama for 6 days. We have chosen Kusadasi because it is very close to lots of archeological sites around Izmir and you can take a ferry to island Samos (Greece). I will write about that ferry trip in another post.
Around Kusadasi we made daily trips to Efes, Selcuk and Pamukkale. We also spend 1 day in a boat cruise which goes to the bays around Kusadasi. The name of the boat was Big Baba. If you want a boat trip take this one. It was fantastic.
Then we switched to Greece, island Naxos over Samos (stopping at Athens for 1 night). We have visited most of the beaches around the island. When we are going to Naxos from Athens we have taken a fast ferry, they call it High Speed 4. The wind was over 10m/s on the see and I have learnt that high speed boats is not secure and comfortable in high winds so it started move up and down and captain lower to speed nearly 30km/h. It took us quite while to reach to Naxos. So, keep in mind that High Speed ferries are good when the weather is good. We have stayed at an apart hotel called Golden Bay near Agios Prokopios. This area is very close to central (Hora) of Naxos. The official site of the island is www.naxos.gr (use the language drop down menu on right top to switch to English).
We visited most of the close beaches additional to some other far away beaches; Agios Prokopios, Plaka, Kastraki, Prigaki, Mikri Vigla, Apollonas, Agia Anna (for its bars). We also checked out some villages for dinner or just sightseeing; Apeiranthos, Apollonas, Filoti and Koronos.
