Greece priminister has started his Turkey visit today. Since his Uncle Karamanlis’s visit to Turkish priminister Menderes 49 years ago; a Greek priminister is first time visiting Turkey.

Hainides (XAÏNHDES) is a Greek folk music band. Known or unknown lot of folk songs are in their repertoire. Today we have watched and listened them at the Live music bar KYTTAPO (Guitar in Greek). The concert started at 23:00 and was still going on when we had to left at 05:00. They played a lot of songs from their old and new albums. The concert was supported with Shadow theater Karagöz and acrobats.

For me the biggest suprise of the night was the song they played and sang in TURKISH from AŞIK VEYSEL called UZUN İNCE BİR YOLDAYIM. The arrengment was very good with Cretan Kemenche, Ud, Guitar, Buzuki and Bass. So I wanted to add the lyrics of the song here in Turkish and English.

Long story short if you see HAINIDES (XAÏNHDES) concert somewhere, do not miss it…
