Ketencigolu on the road in Balkans

My luck was to learn about the Muammer Ketencioglu’s concert the day I landed to Athens. I have got the news from GRTRnews.com. Of course we did not miss and made the plan and went. The theme was the two faces of Agean Sea and the songs were selected very good. But the main topic was Zeybek songs. I do more prefer Ioanian music to Zeybek. I have waited for one more bite of Ioanian music every second with hope but the theme was limited to only Zeybek part of Ioanian music. Anyway it was onderful. Ketencioglu said that they are not making classical music so we should feel free to stand up and dance. Some ladies replied to this call and we had a wonderful night.

Because the summer came and I had some time for holiday, we had use the chance and took a flight to Athens. After 3 days in Athens I had a wonderful holiday at Amorgos Island. The pictures are again in Picasa Web. You can see by clicking he link below.
